One of our customers found an innovative way to use our dual media player to create an inexpensive in-store promotion. He has two LCD screens side by side playing a sushi question and answer sequence. When you think of it; this is an easy way to get the customers attention while you entertain him and educate him about your product.
Because the medium is digital signage, his promotion can be rich with color, pictures and animation. Because he is using our dual media player, the artwork is very easy to create because it is not two complex synchronized videos that are perfectly timed; it is one video cut in half and displayed on two screens by our dual player. The artwork can also be a slide show if you don’t want to create a video.
This customer has four screens in his restaurant; two for the dual screen promotion sequence, and two single screens for menus. The menu screens are multi zoned and also have mixed animation and text on each screen. Some customers have used the dual player to create two menus driven only by one dual player. The dual player loses resolution when it cuts one video in half however because it is spreading the same number of pixels across two screens. Your text therefore can’t be as small or sharp as it could be with a normal player but it is still 1080 x 768 which is very capable of creating great menus and promotions.
He can easily change his promotion with the seasons or holidays because like all digital signage it takes only new artwork to change your look, your product offerings, your prices or your special offerings. The dual player is a great marketing tool enabling very cool promotions at an affordable price.
