Because we work directly with the factories that manufacture our products we get many requests for modifications and special orders. Because we are engineers with an OEM background we can usually help.
Many of our customers build retail displays and need features that are not standard in our media players or point of purchase displays. Usually the project is very price sensitive because if the customer is willing to spend a lot of money he can get what he needs anywhere. While we can’t promise every project will work out, we are willing to develop specials.
We have relationships with our manufacturers to design and build OEM systems. Since our background is engineering, we can usually tell you if a project is feasible before we ask the factory to look at it. We also have enough experience to put some broad budgetary numbers together so by the time we get the factory involved we have confidence it can be done.
The factories we work with are primarily in Asia and have access to low cost components as well as cost effective assembly. We have built OEM projects is lots as small as 100 units although the higher the number the lower the price.
