Our customers range from large corporations with digital signs in more than one hundred locations to small veterinarian clinics with one screen. We work with schools, banks, retail stores, restaurants, hospitals, assisted living homes, theaters, hotels, auto dealers and customers of all sorts. One thing in common is the vast majority create their own sign media.
Digital sign media is predominately pictures, text and video clips. The file types are all standard so any software that can edit pictures can create sign media. Even people unskilled in photo editing can usually use PowerPoint or similar software to create slides with pictures and text. Web based software allows users to use any kind of computer; PC, MAC or Linux.
Digital signage is easy to manage. The user works from their computer where pictures, clip art and sign elements are at hand. Multi zoned systems allow the user to combine several elements into one screen. For example, let’s say you are a Ford dealer. Perhaps Ford sends you video clips of the new models. You place them in one portion of the screen; add a simple text banner with your name across the top of the screen and a simple text advertisement or two in other areas of the screen. The final signage program shows the video playing with your name and the ads; a composite picture with motion and text without any video editing on your part.
Once you are happy with the result on your computer screen a few keystrokes sends the program to your signs. Finished sign media can be used over and over, can be edited anytime and the huge amount of clipart, animations and pictures available means your signage will never be boring.
Bulletin boards in assisted living homes come alive in digital. “Bingo Tonight!” only needs to show on bingo day; much better than a sun faded paper that says “Bingo every Thursday”.
